After going through the "cam cap" issue before and now smelling burning oil again, I was not happy thinking about possibly another lengthy repair. When I took it in and told the service adviser he was skeptical as after only the drive from home to the shop there was no smell. They took it back in the shop and after about a half hour, he came and told me they think they found it and, it wasn't what it was before. He showed me evidence of oil leaking at the base of the dip tube. They replaced the "O" ring which somehow cracked and all is well.
