My vehicle is suffering of the exact same issue described in recall WRA-24. However, this recall only covers the model years 2020 to 2022, mine is 2014 with approximately 106,000 miles. Since the last week of December, my vehicle has been to the Fort Wayne, IN Subaru Dealership approximately 9 time for the same issue. It has cost me over $2,500 plus the fuel used for all this trips (I live over 40 miles away from the dealership). The problem is still not 100 percent fixed after they changed the seat cushion, the airbag module, the seat belt buckle sensor, and I don't know what else. The last time (a couple of weeks ago) that the car was at the dealership, they had the car for over 2 weeks. The next morning, the car did the same thing again where the red airbag warning light turns on and the passenger airbag shuts off with a passenger sitting on the seat. I've taken videos of the issue to show the dealership as they seemed doubtful of what I was explaining to them. The dealer claims they have been in contact with Subaru and they don't know what else to do. They started providing me with a loaner free of charge after the 4th visit. In summary, same issue as WRA-24, over $2,500 so far, and still not resolved.

Takata recall. Received letter stating air bag recall for the passenger side frontal air bag on march15th. Called ramsey Subaru on route 17 in ramsey NJ where I bought the car and was told that I could not have the recall fixed until September 2019. In my mind that is not a resonable amount of time given that fact that I cannot have a passenger in my car.

Takata recall. Recall notice indicates that 'until this repair is performed, do not allow passengers to tide in the front passenger seat.' I called the dealer, beard Subaru, as soon as the notice arrived but was told there was a waiting list and I would have to wait until May. That puts my vehicle out of service for at least two months!

Takata recall I have O notices from courts that my car is equipped with these defective airbags. I called my dealership, hansel Subaru in sana rosa, ca, and was told "there are a lot of scams going around." I was told there is no recall, which NHTSA confirms, and to call Subaru America, which gave me a recorded message full of legal gibberish. I feel I am driving around in a dangerous car, and no remedy is available. Somebody has to do something that makes sense!

On 11/18/13, at approximately 5:15 pm, I was heading down a street to make a left to go home from work. All of a sudden the car accelerated and would not slow down after I pushed down on the brake with my right foot. I immediately began to turn the wheel to the right onto an empty street to avoid two other cars at the intersection who were going to make the same left I originally wanted to make. For some reason, the car did not go all the way right and went diagonally from the intersection across the street. The car then jumped a curb hitting an electrical pole. At that point, I was pulled out of the car by another driver who saw the incident because when hitting the pole, live wires were dangling from the pole. I was taken across the street away from the car and waited for police and paramedics to come.
