Bought this car new. Noticed the past few months that I am loosing or it is using oil at a rate of about a quart a month. Oil light has never came on even when I first noticed the problem and I was down 2 1/2 quarts!
Brought it in for service and told SoORSubaru about it and they didn't do anything until I complained after the service.
They said drive train is covered under warranty but it is common for some Subarus to use extra oil. Unfortunately my car is not one of those listed that it is common.
Doing a 1200 mile oil consumption test but have several co-workers who did this test at the same location who were told results were inconclusive but all of their Subarus was using oil.
