Driving along and go to hit the brakes and my car stalled. At first I thought I had put bad gas in it so we tried the really good stuff. Problem still happened. Go to get an estimate on what was wrong and it was the CVT. Quoted the repair at $2029.00. Go home, Google the issue and find out there’s been multiple issues with this same problem with my car as well as many other Subaru’s keep feeling a little more into the problem and find out they issued a extended warranty up to 1000,000 miles or July 31, 2018.
I contacted Subaru corporate and they basically said tough sh*t, you’re sol. Come to find out, they claim they sent me a letter regarding the issue, never received it. The more I looked into it and found others with the same issues, they never received a letter either. Guessing they never sent the letters like they claim.
I took this issue to their corporate Facebook page where I’ve been BLOCKED. They claim it’s not a safety issue, but my car s stalling g on the road while I’m driving...how is that not a safety issue?! Lol. Subaru sucks. I will never own another vehicle by them. They’re a bunch of liars that never sent letters and do not stand by their sh*tty CVT’s. I will not drop this matter until my vehicle is repaired by them.
