This, like the passenger AB complaint, is a frequent problem that never happens when we take the car in to dealer. The thing slams shut hard enough to possibly break the glass. I have reported it many times to the dealer. Response is always the same "if problem does not show itself while your car is here we can do nothing".
My question to them is "When does the dealer take the word of the customer and decide that the problem is real and we will fix it". I spoke to Larry Myers personally about my problems with this car and he grouped me in with the folks he calls cranks. So I am a habitual complainer.
Now that the dealership has changed hands the response is similar and the service department is even less interested.
