The area under the steering wheel is a hard, sharp edge. I was rear-ended in April. I was sitting still with my foot on the brake, behind another vehicle. The car that hit me was going fast and rammed my car into the car in front twice and my knee was cut and bruised on the sharp, hard area under the steering wheel. The knee injury was diagnosed as a torn ACL/Meniscus/fracture and I underwent knee surgery to repair my knee. Subaru needs to fix this defective design of the area under the steering column.
