After 8 months of ownership, driver side leather seat developed worn spot on left side about 1/2 way up on side support. Repaired under warranty at no cost. Dealership recommended to prevent future damage, we extend seat into full back position whenever exiting and entering the vehicle. The new seat cover that was replaced under warranty started showing signs of wear after only two months. Car is out of new car warranty now, 13 months & 13,000 miles, so I don't know if the extended warranty will cover another repair. Kind of sad that a new car can't stand up to normal wear and tear for even the first year, and instead of the dealer acknowledging that the quality of materials is inferior, they tell me I have to push my seat back every time I exit and enter the car. Anyone else experiencing poor leather seat quality, please email to mrmapes@aolcom.
