valve stuck open, needed both heads removed and rebuilt
2300 dollars.... Bought the car and about 2 months later started running like crap. Took it in to my local mechanic who said " are you sitting down...". Never a good start.. Have loved our Subaru's in the past but to basically rebuild the engine @ 88000 miles is ridiculous!! There is always a risk when purchasing a used car but really???
