bought the car on Aug, 8 2017 from ORR Chevy/Cadillac in Ft. Smith Ar. asked if car had any modifications or had ever been wrecked since it was not taken on trade in it was a direct purchase from original owner.. upon first look noticed it had a Cobb cold air intake installed, the reason i asked about modifications, sales person wasn't sure so she called the used sales manager, whom had purchased the car directly from the previous owner, this guy just out and out lied to me at every turn, I am disabled from being hit by a doped up drunk 29 yrs ago on a motorcycle so i walk with a noticeable limp and have started to have other more serious health issues as the years have went on from the trauma my body suffered, the reason i didn't see that the front and rear bumpers were being held on with zip ties, and id also found the Cobb tuner in the glove box, (apparently it has a stage 1 tune installed) along with a receipt where the engine had been replaced @33,600miles from a spun bearing. The odometer now read 56,468 miles at the time of the sale. and i should of got up and walked out when the finance guy tried to sell me a 2yr 24,000mile warranty for $4400, I've since found out that Orr is famous for buying or trading for cars that look great, or in my case even pristine condition, the leather seats didn't look like they had ever been used by anyone over 70 pounds, not a wrinkle or crease. the car looked as if it had never been driven from the inside and the exterior was the same other than a couple rock chips in the hood... anyway they look for these cars that have engine issues and can pick them up for nothing, they shade tree the issues to get them hid long enough to get it sold at high warranty prices or like in my case no warranty as of yet but i have found a warranty from a company that is 3 /36 for $1800. thats a far cry from 2/24 at $4400, anyway during the test drive the sales person was changing the turbo dial while i was driving the car, and it had been a while since id drove a stick too, and was able to mask the hesitation in the engine which was only at 3200 rpm at that time that has gotten progressively worse or I've just began to notice the lessor of the misses or hesitations that are happening, and every once in a while when your taking off its like its face for a few seconds then picks back up and takes off it was the worst the i took the cobb tuner and installed the economy tune, i thought it was going to just stall out and die pulling out off my road. i believe that its either a throttle position sensor from watching the live data logger on the cobb tuner because it never has thrown a code what ever its doing, but the only place i can find any weird readings is on the TPS DUTY LOAD its all over the place even at idle it will read the duty as being from -16.4 to +19.5 but thats even a guess because they are changing so fast that you can't really read them but it will continue bouncing the numbers all over the place even after shutting the engine off...for around 3-4 seconds after the engines off, and this is the only place that i can find any thing off. but my only other guess is that it would be in the ignition system, or the fuel delivery system, other than the TPS that is... and forgive my rant about the dealership just want to warn any other people that are in my area and thinking of purchasing a used car from them, just heard about a 2016 camaro ss sold there that within 2 weeks of purchasing it had to go refinance it to get nearly $4k with of electrical and body work done at another shop =not sure of the validity of that story but my friend with the body shop has told me of cars he has had to fix that ORR had sold to good customers of his that they did patch/n/splash jobs on to make them look and sound good long enough to get them sold, then its your problem,
