Living in Ottawa, there is a lot of salt on the roads during winter, so it's not abnormal to see salt crystals on most of your car. However, in this case it was on a part of the seatbelt that would never be able to exit the car or rest on the floor. It looks like it was wicked up from the mounting point (driver side). This doesn't make sense unless there is water sitting somewhere behind the bolt... I don't want my seat belt anchor point to be rusty. The dealer said they washed off the salt and called it fixed. Salt came back over the next few weeks.
