The day I drove my Impreza home from the dealership, last year, the engine blew. I knew I should have left it on the lot then, but I loved the car, and Dunning of Ann Arbor promised a 6 year bumper to bumper 100K warranty..so, ok, they replaced the motor. About two months later, my clutch broke in two...yes, broke in two...luckily, the warranty covered it..although, a major pain in the ass...the dealer was decent enough. So now, again, on Sept. 19, 2012, my clutch blew..The dealership, not so nice this time. They blamed me for the clutch blowing. I don't dog my car. I love it. I am very careful not to ride the clutch..or drive it like an ass..bottom line is that because the dealer says the problem is due to wear and tear, they are not going to cover the cost...that's bullshit. There is obviously a flaw with the design. Could it be that the engine is too much for the trans???
Either way, I'm screwed, unless someone else has an idea for me
