took dealership over 3 weeks to repair; only seemed to complete it when they needed loaner car back within 24 hrs. Rush job....2 more major problems occurred within a year of this. I HAVE A LEMON. Owned Subarus for decades and never experienced anything like this piece of crap (the only NEW Subaru I have ever purchased, all others used; one was even a "reconditioned" title, rebuilt after major accident.) They all were inexpensive, very reliable, low-maintenance vehicles. NOT THE 2008 IMPREZA. I hate this car; my husband insists no more Subarus. How can they afford to "drive" their most loyal customers away? I am the third person in my family that the corporation has burned with their policies, and not standing up to repair defective designs. RIP Subaru.
