Why did this happen? The timing belt is not scheduled for inspection untill 100,000 miles. Now I have to borrow the money to have it repaired. At least no one was hurt. This happened on a road trip when my son was pulling off to change drivers with his wife after midnight in Indiana. At least noone was hurt. My grandkids ages 4 and 1 were travelling in the car. They had to have the car towed, get a hotel room and rent a car to get home to Michigan. I had to rent a car to get to work until the car is repaired and I can get back to FortWayne to pick it up.
