The knocking has gone away when starting from a stop - in a straight line.
But the car still vibrates when turning. I guess the dealer believes that this is a separate issue.
Shame they did not bring it to my attention - they just said it was fixed...
I will be taking it back to the dealer soon to get this next fault diagnosed - as I believe the transmission may have failed.
