On Monday May 15/2023 while I was coming out my driveway when I notice something on the top left side of the windshield. I thought it was a water mark but not. When I got to my destination I inspected the mark and it was a crack on my windshield. I did not understand what was happening. I did not drive the car the day before and this car has less than 5k miles and less than a year old. I have a Honda civic for over 20 years and I have never had this issue. I reported it to the Subaru dealer couple days later. They gave me an appointment for May 30/2023 to inspect the crack.
When I called they told me that the damage was not covered by the warranty but bring it anyway for inspection. The advisor told me that he took pictures and will send them to Subaru. I did not hear anything from the dealer so I called the advisor on June 29/2023 and he said that still has not received any answer from Subaru but will call me as soon as he has a answer. I called again on July 10/2023 and July 24/2023 and he had the same excuse "no answer from Subaru. Today is August 10/2023 and I called again but unfortunately the advisor is off. I will call again tomorrow and hopefully he will give me good news. It is almost 3 months since I reported the issue and I getting very disappointed. the crack is getting very large moving to the center of the windshield.
