This has happened more than once. Subaru dealership told me it may occasionally needs to be reinitialized. I told them that I shouldn’t have to do this. They said they were able to get it to work and offered no other solutions.

Electrical repairs are no longer covered since the warranty does not cover the mileage that is on my vehicle. I am afraid to see how much this will cost me on top of other major repairs I have had to pay for already.
