The 2017 Forester 2.5 was a decent car. Thankfully it was a lease, and not a purchase.
With the accelerator getting stuck, RPMS shooting up, and nothing the driver could do except hope nobody hits you, this was not a good situation. A test drive by the Subie techs finally had it happen to them and they diagnosed it back to the transmission and replaced it.
