Noticed a â€groaning†noise coming from the rear end of the vehicle. I first noticed in March on trip to Florida. Thought it sounded like a wheel bearing but could not tell which side. Brought in to dealer recently to replace rear brakes and rotors which I also think is ridiculous at 47,900 miles. Told them to check out noise which I was told was both rear bushings were going. I had them replaced also. This is ridiculous, at 47,900 miles!! I’ve had many cars and this is a first replacing wheel bearings especially at such low miles! I will be calling Subaru!
Update from Oct 18, 2022: Contacted Subaru headquarters and told them I was under the 60,000 miles but over the 5 year period by 4 months. Told them I was very disappointed with such a failure at such low mileage. They took my information opened a case and a said they would be in contact within 72 hours. They emailed me during that period and sent me a check for FULL reimbursement. I was very happy that corporate stepped up and took responsibility. They apparently do stand behind their product.
