I have a Toyota Sienna with 170,000 miles on it and no wear on the cloth seats. The seat starting to get fuzzy at 6000 miles is not acceptable. Subaru told me to keep driving it and when it wears (If it does during the 3 year warranty period) They will replace the seat cover. I bought seat covers to keep the seat from wearing more. My advice to anyone considering buying a Subaru is DON"T GET CLOTH SEATS! Subaru material is lousy. Subaru Corporate says the amount of wear does not warrant replacing the seat cover. Very disappointed with their answer. I sure hope the seat cover I bought lasts longer than the Subaru seat material!
