I wanted to add my voice to the concern about uneven tire wear. I too have noticed the right rear tire has pronounced wear in comparison to the other tires. I took my vehicle to a tire shop and they were at a loss to explain how one tire would have worn that unevenly especially a rear tire. The remaining wear on the front tires is 6/32 compared to 2/32 for the right rear. I estimate the total mileage on the tires to be around 17,000 miles as I run winter tires for about 6 months/year.

At 20,000 both rear tires were ok very little wear, after this last road trip I was surprised to see a very unusual amount of tire wear on both rear tires more so on the right rear, checked tire pressure and found it to be normal, Have a friend who has a 2017 Forester that has started to do the same. Took it into the dealer in Colorado Springs in CO and was told this is normal wear on this version of vehicle, I have been working on Machines from Diesel Trucks to earth moving machines and aircraft since I was 16, sorry this is not normal with so few miles, there is something wrong with the vehicle and the dealers are not owning up to it.

Vehicle has uneven tire wear, front compared to back. At 10,000 kms we noticed the back tires feathering on the treads and having more wear than the front tires. Dealer asked if we abused vehicle?? They recommended a wheel alignment, the report indicated no significant adjustments were made and tires were not rotated??

Subaru recommends alignment every 20,000kms, this seems too frequent to me, are Subarus that fragile?
