CarComplaints.com Notes: Subaru thinks burning through a quart of oil every 1,000 miles or so is perfectly normal. That's a crude stance if you ask us.

1.I have owned many new cars over many years. My 2105 Subaru was bought as a result of great product promotion over many years. as a very safety oriented vehicle....I find that the engine surge in driving out of an intersection is one of the most disturbing vehicle habit I have ever experienced,,,I have contacted the sales dealer many times . they have no solution (other than removing the new vehicle floor mats (which I have done ) This has not solved the problem. The vehicle itself is a very complex vehicle to understand . That is evident by the vehicle information book of over 250 pages..Even changing time i complex. quality of the exterior paint job is inferior and does not retain a shine for long even though properly washed, The speedometer and the RPM meters are very difficult to read as they are located too low behind the steering wheel..The fuel tank entry switch located within a depression on the floor is a very bad idea as it gets affected by normal floor sand etc. from normal in and out ofthe vehicle particularly in winter months ...there is no space in the driver area for convenience items...inmost new cars these type of storage spaces are readily available for CDs and personal items, etc,,,In other words, the 2015 Subaru Forester is NOT a vehicle to be driven within a normal family that is very used to a regular vehiclesuitable for family travel and safetyFrom this complaint , I request a Subaru representative to contact me.
