CarComplaints.com Notes: Subaru thinks burning through a quart of oil every 1,000 miles or so is perfectly normal. That's a crude stance if you ask us.

I noticed this shortly after buying the car in February 2019, with 95,013 miles on it. While it's not repeatable on demand, it happens often enough that it's a nuisance. Can't relate it to any particular variables like weather, etc. I'll report it at my next service appointment, but don't expect any positive response from Subaru or the dealer, since it's apparently common (and unresolved) on this era of Subarus.
