CarComplaints.com Notes: Is burning a quart of oil every 1,000 miles normal? Depends on who you ask. While Subaru says it's within "normal specifications," owners wonder why they need to top off their oil reservoir 4 times between every 5,000 mile oil change.

Seat belt/air bag alarm requests that seat belt be fastened, although there is no one in the seat! Dealer suggests that it may be $500.00, more or less, to repair, depending on exact nature of problem.
Update from Jun 28, 2021: So, sometimes when I am in the passenger seat with seat belt fastened, the seat belt warning icon is illuminated, and the air bag is off. Sometimes turning the ignition off and exiting, then re-entering and starting the car clears the problem.
