I'm never buying another Pooparu. We bought an 09 Forester brand new and had nothing but problems. The drive shaft failed at 14,000 miles, head gaskets leaked at 34,000 miles, engine was replaced due to oil consumption at 38,000 miles, outer trim kept falling off since day one and took dealership 7 times to get it to stay on. We are replacing the drive shaft again next month because it is defective again.

Interior paint has worn away, I removed their plastic suspension parts and replaced with quality parts, etc, etc. Also when the engine had to be replaced while under warranty, Subaru tried to make us cover half the cost. We didn't pay because I threatened a legal course of action. After the engine change the idiots forgot to put the clamp on the lower radiator hose. I fixed that issue and put their required "coolant conditioner" back in it. Their coolant conditioner is just Holts Radweld which is a stop leak additive. So this is their fix for a design defect? A band aid fix for all their models old and even the new.

I share my issues to all their potential customers hoping to prevent anyone else from having to deal with poor quality vehicles and customer service. Never again will we make the mistake of buying a polished turd! 😠
