Pinging under light load on hills, sudden acceleration, pinging when car shifts 2nd to 3rd, 3rd to 4th gear. Way too much pinging for a new car. Have had to dealer 3 times, had the transmission 'relearned,' just had the engine control and transmission modules reset to factory settings to see what happens. Am losing hope that they can fix it.
Is there an ECU remap that Subaru can release? They don't have any computer upgrade to fix this.
