When my front left tire blew out I needed to have the donut put on so I could take the car to a repair facility. The initial repair place did not warn me about unhooking the all wheel drive system while the donut was on the car. This resulted in the dashboard warning light for the all wheel drive coming on and flashing. When I tried to figure out from the owner's manual what might be happening, there was no place that warned about unhooking the all wheel drive while using a donut. I still do not know if this will result in needing the all wheel drive system replaced, which might cost up to $10,000. This warning needs to go to all service stations and customers of Subaru who might need to use a donut if a tire blows.
