The vehicle had been running rougher and rougher so I had a tuneup done which only made it worse. After the mechanic looked into it, they discovered that the compression was low on one of the cylinders. Ultimately I had to have the entire engine removed and several valves replaced in addition to some other internal engine work. Even with pulling favor and having connections to get the work done, it was still over $2,000 to repair.
