really awful
engine problem
After our first head gasket blew back in 2006 we were amazed to have the second one blow last night, only two and half years, and 20,000 miles later. I am really trying to find more unhappy Subaru Forester owners to get there stories so I can make a complaint to Subaru.

Even though the dealer said there had been many similar problems in Subaru Foresters they refused to warranty the blown head gasket we had at 62,000 miles and only 4 years old. Now (2/9/09) the head gasket just blew again!

A low mileage nice car suddenly became a piece of junk (Over heating, coolant leaking), out of warranty, totally bad design from manufacture.
The worst problem a car ever can have, and Subaru do not take any responsibility.
Do not buy this type of design will save yourself a lot of expensive trouble.
