This is a major issue for the trim level purchased, Subaru Crosstrek Limited. The interior lighting is a full on disappointment. There are replacement LED bulbs available to replace these cheap ass yellow icky and dim bulbs. The LED bulbs available on Amazon for $16.99 are whiter, brighter and last 50,000 hours! They replace two map bulbs in the front, one dome bulb in the middle, one cargo area bulb in back and two license plate bulbs (6 total). If you blow the fuse, it is usually #26 on the interior fuse compartment 10A. While there, make the decision to replace that fuse cover door with a cover that has a change compartment pocket behind it. $11.99 on Amazon and really worth it. For installation instructions look on YouTube. The license plate bulbs are the most difficult to replace due to the housing. The plastic lens gets moved slightly inward, toward the license plate while slightly pulling outward. The front glove box light is LED but again is disappointing! It is dim and yellow! If you don't think you have a bulb there, turn on your headlights!
