Today I had to have AAA replace my Subaru battery roadside. This is the third battery in my 2016 Subaru Crosstrek. That means I'm getting <2 years out of each battery. They go with almost no warning. This is conjecture, but based on all of the research I've done on Subaru batteries since having issues with my own car, this issue is rampant across Subaru years and models. My next car will not be a Subaru.
