The hood paint chips super easily. At 45,000 miles (split between city and highway), the hood had at least 25 small paint chips. Now the whole good needs to be repainted. I wash the car usually once per month. I know I could have done more to protect it, but it still seems excessive that the hood is in this bad of shape and already needs to be repainted.
