I got quotes to get this fixed and was shocked at the price. It was mostly the labor since it is an intense thing to fix but I think the most disappointing part to me is that I use these back doors infrequently so I don't understand why they both stopped working - one and then the other. I refuse to pay over $700 per door and instead will just deal with manually locking them. Of course the problem started once my warranty was up not sure that it would be covered. I figured maybe if I posted this here and a lot of other people are having the same problem Subaru might become aware, offer a recall perhaps? Worth a shot.
