I have had the car to the Portland, Oregon Mercedes dealer on repeated dates, they tell me that they "remap" the transmission but there is nothing they can do. They tell me that is just the way the car drives. It is terrifying to go to pass a car with another coming up in the next lane and not know if the transmission will downshift and allow you to accelerate, or if it will stay in high gear and all 3 cylinders give you NO acceleration!
