The contact owns a 2015 Scion Xb. While driving 20 mph, the vehicle failed to come to a complete stop when the brake pedal was depressed. As a result, the vehicle crashed into another vehicle. The air bags deployed. A police report was filed. There were no injuries sustained. The vehicle was towed to the contact's insurance company to determine the condition of the vehicle. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or independent mechanic for diagnostic testing or repairs. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was 40,000.
