I bought my car from Toyota thinking that I was buying a quality made vehicle. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my car but the quality of it is just less than horrible. Months after I purchased it I had begun hearing rattles from all different places in my car. Under the hood, the dashboard, rear roof line..EVERYWHERE! For the price range, I was ready to hear some rattles here and there but not this much! As of now, these rattles are still present. I can't go to the dealership because under their "warranty" policy, they don't cover rattles. Which is, in my opinion, dumb because that obviously is due to a lack in workmanship. I even have started to hear rattles from the windshield!! Windshields DONT RATTLE!!!! I mean, how is that even possible?! In my case, it is very possible. During hot days, (90-100f) during acceleration from a standstill there is a rattle/flapping noise coming from the middle bottom area. I've checked the wipers, windshield, under the hood toward the windshield and there is NOTHING that I can possibly think of that could be making this noise. I now need a new windshield due to a large crack I have so im hoping that onced it is replaced it will remedy the problem. But for now, I have to continue to drown ( or at least try to) out the noice with music.
