I purchased a 2005 Toyota Scion Tc on may of 2005, which currently has aprox 35,400 miles. The problem I am having relates to the front suspension. When ever I pass over rough surfaces there is a distinct metallic rattling sound originating from the suspension area. I have taken the car in to the hollywood, ca Toyota dealership twice to have this problem addressed, but as of yet it has not been resolved. After searching the internet for similar problems other owners of the same car might be experiencing, I discovered numerous complaints describing the exact defect my car has. Attached are a few of the websites where I discovered other person's experiences. social-Tc-club.com/index.php?showtopic=4609&mode=threaded&pid=77857, www.clubsciontc.com/forum_thread_13219-suspension-noise--uh-oh-.html. my car is stock. Please investigate this pervasive problem before someone gets hurt in an accident due to unstable front end control.
