Electrical issues are intermittent. Key fob won't open the door. Key won't turn ignition. Key then won't come out, stuck. Let car rest 5+ minutes. Key in ignition now turns and car starts. Drive short distant, gauges blink on/off then go dark. Radio stops. Sometimes door chimes. Happens on straight away and turns. Works for a few days, then goes out again.
Took to dealer twice. Symptoms don't "happen" for techs. They checked battery, lines, hoses, cables, computer eval. Nothing shows up. Bought new battery anyway. Drive home, same problem. Frustrating. Heard there was ignition/steering column recall by GM but not for my exact make/model/year.
Afraid to drive any distance. Heard car could catch fire. Repair techs won't take my car for several days to drive around. My warranty ends Oct 2015. Sounds like an expensive fix if there is one. I can't be the only one with this issue. WHAT DO I DO????? Please help !!!
