07 Saturn Vue, Manual transmission. Ignition switch has been a pain in the Back side for 5 years. Finally decided to leave the key in ignition because I could not get it back in if I removed it. locked the car with remote for years. Finally, car would not start. Mechanic checked the Battery (good), trouble shot the Starter (good), the clutch Safety switch(good), the wiring harness (good), the Ignition Switch(BAD). Mechanic
installed temporary hot wire to Clutch Safety Switch(bypassing bad ignition switch wire) and now car starts just fine. Ignition switch should have been on recall for years on this vehicle. Thousands of recalls on other years and models of Saturn Vues. Why not the 07 when it is obviously the same problem as others!!!!!!!!!
