I am extremely angry at the fact that within a year I have already replaced 3 rotors and now a forth needed replace.Yes the parts are still under warranty but, the labour is not. This is the worst vehicle I have ever owned for being a parts pig. Replacing 2 sets of wheel bearings, needs a CV boot and shaft now. Prior to this had to replace the steering shaft and linkage..I also have occasional issues with the key not wanting to turn in the ignition. For that I have sprayed silicone spray that temporarily solved the problem which persists. You have to move the steering wheel in order to get it working, although it is still locked. When purchased the vehicle private sale I thought the tires were the cause of the front end whirling noise, when it was the wheel bearings itself.
I do not nor will not recommend this vehicle brand of any year to anyone ever. Had I done my homework here or elsewhere I too may of avoided this Turkey in the RAW. As soon as financially able will be selling this huge burden to someone else. Another issue had was when folded the rear seat on drivers side, it locked there and cannot get it to go up again. If I could afford to I would drive this to a now defunct Saturn dealer and set fire to it in the lot. No wonder they went & scrapped the brand. GM designed a horrible part eating machine. They are appealing in looks but the Saturn VUE should of had GM recall every vehicle and refund peoples money. Governments should of forced GM to recall and maintain every one for years until they created a better fix or taken them off the road..
