The contact owns a 2004 Saturn Vue. While driving between 35-40 mph on normal road conditions, the contact heard a noise coming from outside of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for inspection and they stated that the failure was due to the driveshaft carrier bearing. The part for the repair was unavailable due to the massive back order. The technician recommended that the contact not drive the vehicle due to the safety hazard. The vehicle remains inoperative due to the lack of repair parts. The VIN and mileages were unknown.
