The contact owns a 2008 Saturn Sky redline. The contact stated that the air bag off indicator did not illuminate when an occupant was positioned in the front passenger seat. The failure occurred sporadicly. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer on five separate occasions, where the passenger presence system sensor and the sensing diagnostic module were replaced at different times. The failure continued to occur after the repairs. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 6,027. Updated 9/19/11 updated 01.23.12
