No apparent reason, the light will airbag light remained on. I consulted the Web site on this problem that seems very currents for Sky and Soltice 2007. I tried to lubricate the son connector under the seat as some did on Youtube but without result. I do not want oir dev pay $ 1000 for the GM dealer to change the defective module located under the seat.

Knelt on passenger seat to clean windshield to get it ready for the summer. Airbag warning came on immediately after. I then discovered via forums that this is a common issue. GM knows but does not care, in fact I believe GM knows fully well about the problem as it was designed to be fragile and unrepairable. The car owners only recourse is to buy a new seat bottom at a hugely inflated price of $500.00 Canadian dollars. Plus installation and then a GM tech has to reset the computer to accept the new sensor and clear the codes. $1000.00 dollars plus at that point. I know the price is inflated because I can order the same part for another vehicle for $100.00 from half way around the planet!! If GM wants to trade my families safety for cash then we will never own another GM product again. I gave GM a chance to step up and talk with me but my email was ignored. Selling the car ASAP. Good riddance GM.

Recall demanded!!!!! First passenger side now driver side GM get your sh** together! Not happy and very scared to drive my very loved car. She is in pristine condition except this terrifying issue. It seems that with all the airbag problems of late this would be a natural response for GM but they don't see the problem let alone try to fix it. "Ain't no problem here." How many more deaths does GM want on their hands?
