My AC quit working in August the hottest month. The first step was to empty the Freon and refill it. There was not a leak. Next I took it to the dealer where they replaced the AC compressor which was $1000 fix. My extended warranty covered all but $100. That was not the problem because my AIR is still warm from the front vents. It is cold in the rear vents. Now I have to take it back yet another time to the dealer which is 45 miles from my home to see if they can fix the problem. They now say it may be the actuator. Some little gears. I just want cold air now when I need it. In a few more weeks I will need the heat.
