Stay away from the 2007 Saturn Outlook. I had to have the transmission replaced twice and the timing chain as well at a cost of $7000.00. Nothing but problems over and over again. Now the traction control/stabilizer issue is occurring for the 3rd time. This car, by far, is the biggest piece of junk and a waste of money. GM was notified when these things started occurring which started in 2012 and the car had about 64k miles on it. They did reimburse me $4000.00 for the transmission. The funny thing is,when AMCO replaced the transmission for the 2nd time and sent it to the dealership for programming, it came out needing a new timing chain at a cost of $3000.00.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS CAR! We have 5 kids and need this car to get around but will not drive it more than 2 hours away on trips because of a fear it will break down. I CANNOT SAY IT LOUD ENOUGH, AVOID THIS CAR AT ALL COSTS! They have a lot of recalls for the 2008 and newer ones but they conveniently left out the 2007 models which experience the same issues as the recalled vehicles. Faulty airbag, yes, my light is on but not part of their convenient recall. Traction control/ stabilizer message has occurred since I purchased the car and I have called GM and reported the problem but when I took it in for service they were unable to find the problem.

When the timing chain and transmission were replace it stopped for about a year and here we are with the same issue. Matter of fact, this morning the car turned off while I was driving the kids to school. Luckily I was in the school zone and only going 25 mph. I restarted the car and pulled it over. I waited a few minutes and then hurried home. Like I said, GM knows these issues exist even in the 2007 models yet they didn't issue any recalls for that year. They are gambling with peoples lives and like I said, STAY AWAY FROM THIS CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!
