I have a 2007 Saturn Outlook with many of the same problems that others have posted. Water pump went out at 56,000 miles - covered under warranty. Transmission went out at 74,000 - covered under warranty. Oil in the air cleaner - $900 out of pocket with towing fees! There is evidently a recall out there that is accessible if you know about it...called several dealers who said..huh? What? yeah, no help there. Cam shaft sensor and another sensor were just replaced and I haven't even gotten that bill yet. Get it home from that fix and funny, my steering is really hard, like manual steering...goes back to my guy, he says my power steering pump & gears need replacing. He finds a bulletin on the web that describes my problem to the T. Yep...warranty will cover it up to 150,000 miles and he says it is going to cost $1800 on the low side to fix this so I don't have to start lifting weights to turn my steering wheel. Seriously??? I was told that even if it was 10 miles over the 150K, GM will do nothing. So frustrating seeing as though I am a freak about maintaining my vehicle! Regular oil changes, tire rotations and all that I am supposed to do as a responsible car owner. Better yet, I have 6 payments left on this vehicle I love. Who, who, who can I talk to who will help me convince GM that 150K miles is not many??? And that they should cover this problem??? My husband drives a Ford F150 with 280K miles with nothing but minor maintenance issues, son drives a Honda Civic with 250K miles on it with honestly little or no issues, especially like this vehicle has had!!! I am the laughing stock of my family because I refuse to dump this vehicle! Help? Anyone? Anyone?? You call GM and you get recording after recording! Customer Service? Nope. I will never buy a GM product again and this makes me very sad. I am not a quitter.
