I bought this from Iron Trail Motors in Virginia. It was less than four days later during a big rain storm that I found my left foot being soaked from water pouring off of the emergency brake. Iron Trail Motors worked with me to correct what I believed to be the issue. A week went by and another rain storm occurred. This time water came streaming out of the sun visor mount, the support airbag point, and out of the emergency brake. During these leaks warning lights were flashing about Air Bag Needing Serviced & Traction Control Disabled. I returned it. Iron Trail Motors said they would fix this free of charge.

A week later they took it to the shop, put in new seals around the window, flooded it with a pressure washer for a day at their shop and at an independent auto body shop. No leaks appeared. It's been almost a month since this fiasco. When I took possession again, snow and ice were the only water around so I've had no chance to test if the repair worked. Now we had our first bout of freezing rain. The leak returned. Water is building in the sun roof's reservoir and started leaking out of the airbag point as it did before. Warning lights of Traction Control Disabled and Service AWD have appeared. I sent the photos to Iron Trail Motors four days ago. They haven't responded at all. I'm sensing I've been abandoned by the dealership that promised that I would be taken care of for this issue I paid to have fixed already.

I've read online of people pulling apart their vehicles to pull out the driver's side drain and put in a larger tube. I like this vehicle but need to figure out how to fix this before it takes out all my electrical components to my $12,000 vehicle that I haven't placed 3,000 miles on yet! GM took the stance of tough luck though they have a whole site dedicated to people complaining directly to them http://www.faqs.org/car/gmc-acadia-2008/structure/.

I just bought this vehicle. I feel absolutely lost and alone on this with limited financial resources forcing me to tear it apart myself and trying to troubleshoot it due to the high costs and lack of help provided by GM and their dealership that promised to see the problem fixed to the end (Thanks, Iron Trail Motors of Virginia for leaving me to hang).
