The contact owns a 2009 Saturn ion. The contact stated that while driving 40 mph, the power steering seized as the power steering warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the technician diagnosed that the steering column needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 58,000 and the current mileage was 63,000.

The contact owns a 2009 Saturn Aura. Whenever the contact would travel over a rough terrain she could noticed a bumping sound under the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to a Chevrolet dealer who replaced the steering column. The current and failure mileages were 8200. Updated 02/23/10. Updated 08/12/10
