Requires A Lot Of Steering Input
2008 Saturn Aura
This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Saturn dealer.
CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2008 Aura’s issues with brakes, such as worn out rotors, isn’t as severe as the prior model year, but let’s just not start awarding them any brake awards just yet. Does that even exist? “The Brakies”?
One thing the 2008 does share with the 2007 is a recall of a busted gear shifter cable which can make it look like your car is in park, when the transmission is still engaged. You can only imagine what kind of fun that causes.

While traveling on a straight highway the amount of steering inputs to maintain the center of the lane was extreme. By the time I got to work my wrist was sore. The mechanic took the car for a ride and found no problem on two occasions. I then subscribed to ALLDATADIY.COM and found this Bulletin 05-03-07-009B, which says "Conditions Possibly Requiring a Wheel Alignment
^ Lead/pull defined as "at a constant highway speed on a typical straight road, the amount of effort required at the steering wheel to maintain the vehicle's straight path."
If I can find this why can't the mechanic and why is my complaint not respected as valid?
