The contact owns a 2004 Saab 9-3. the contact stated that while traveling various speeds, the vehicle suddenly stalled. The vehicle was taken to a private mechanic where it was found that the fuel filter had failed. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted about the failure. The failure mileage and VIN was not available.

Filled gas tank and gauge read full. After a few minutes, gauge read empty. Began occurring when going around a corner, but now reads empty immediately after filling. Once 1/8 to 1/4 of the tank is used, gauge reads accurately.
