seat belts / air bags problem
It was explained to me that this is a standard occurance with SAABs. It is almost always a modual problem. To purchase new @ dealership could cost in the thousands. Once it has been fully diagnosed to get a rebuilt modual will cost around 300.00. and I will never have this issue again.
My repair garage has seen dozens with this issue. I was recommended by him to save all repair slips for this issue because it should have been a recall years ago but now that SAAB claimed bankruptcy I highly doubt that they will do anything.
I have also seen many posts on different sites complaining of same problem. If there is anyway to get some focus on this issue I would appreciate it.

airbag could explode on functioning causing death or injury
I've contacted my SAAB dealer, local Subaru dealer, SAAB USA, NHTSA, and have now written personally to the CEO of GMC since no one can tell me when I will get this fixed. In the meantime I have been advised not to allow anyone to sit in the front passenger seat.This situation has existed since July 15.
Does anyone have an answer????????
